Look at your home like a buyer

Your home looks great to you, but a buyer will see it in a different light. Take fresh look at your home. Hop in your car, drive around the block, and scrutinize your home as a prospective buyer seeing it for the first time.  Consider what's called "street appeal;" does it need washing or painting?  Does the driveway need repair work? Is the landscaping in good shape?  What about the roof?  Do you see the algae so common in the Piedmont?  Remember, be very critical; your buyer will be.

Next, pull into the driveway and take a good, hard look. Is the yard neat and trimmed? What about the view from the front yard?  Now, walk inside and size up the interior as though your are seeing it for the first time.
